Senior Clinical Fellowship in adult and paediatric limb reconstruction located on the site of the Leeds Major Trauma Centre, which serves a population of 3.9 million people.
In addition, the limb reconstruction team provide a tertiary referral service for initial and definitive management of isolated open and complex trauma, as well as post-traumatic complications for a similar population. The post holder will receive advanced clinical training in limb reconstruction using the Ilizarov method, and significant exposure to other techniques including IM nailing, locking plating, Taylor Spatial Frame / other hexapod devices, and lengthening nails.
Previous incumbents have gone on to secure definitive consultant jobs in other UK MTC / limb reconstruction units, including Oxford, Cardiff, Middlesbrough, Southampton, Birmingham, and Manchester.
