Post-CCT fellowship with requirement for FRCS(Tr & Orth).

This fellowship will allow the surgeon to gain extensive experience in the management of adult Major Trauma and the use of circular frame fixators.

We apply around 150 Ilizarov frames per year within the unit for the acute and reconstructive management of fractures, as well as for the treatment of non-unions and malunions.

The fellow will work alongside 4 trauma & limb reconstruction consultants and participate in MDT working alongside our specialist nurse and physiotherapist.

The standard rota includes an average of 8 theatre sessions per week, attendance at the limb reconstruction MDT/planning meeting as well as outpatient limb reconstruction clinic.

There is no on-call commitment associated with this position.

Duration: 6-12 month duration to suit candidates needs.
