In an increasingly uncertain and unstable world, the possibility of multiple or mass casualties in the civilian setting is evermore likely.
Trauma Simulation models are derived from former patients’ scan data and designed by a trauma surgeon for the whole life-saving chain of care.
Developed initially with UK Defence support, our models encompass point-of-wounding care to damage control surgery.
Our new Emergency Major Trauma Orthopaedic Surgery Course (09/12/2026) will help develop a damage control mind-set along with vital surgical skills.
A morning of cadaveric surgical approaches will be followed by simulation task training in pelvic packing, junctional haemorrhage control (with arterial shunting), fascination and temporary external fixation.
